Each new year brings a new beginning. A clean slate to renew yourself void of all mistakes else place. It is up to us to use these opportunities to be something better. Something magnificent. A new beginning gives us a new chance, but more so motivates us. I know we are currently in the middle of 2010, but who all is currently going strong on their New Year Resolutions?

If you’re not, let me tell you, you are NOT a failure. The huge hype that motivates us at the beginning of January simply isn’t there anymore. We’ve sneaked back into our normal everyday routine and our goal is nowhere to be seen. However, your resolution was a resolution for a reason; you want to accomplish it. And you can do it.

The number one reason people quit their resolution is because of lack of motivation. Usually, these goals are wants but not necessarily needs. This in turn coincides with a never-ending cycle of procrastination. Oh I’ll just eat healthier tomorrow, oh I’ll organize next weekend. But tomorrow never comes. Instead, you must take charge of today, because today is here and is here to stay.

Rewrite your New Year Resolutions right now. If you don’t do it right now then who knows when you will? Don’t keep reading until you do.

Did you write them? Don’t say you’ll do it later, we want to beat procrastination.

Now that you have your resolutions rewritten, get your motivation back. Try to renew it daily. Start by imagining how awesome your life will be when you accomplish your goal. Envision your life being your ideal weight or with loads of money. Take note of how this makes you feel, happy, empowering, inspired. Feel as if the imagination is real.

When you’re ready, tap back into reality. Feel much more motivated, eh? It’s okay to be flexible here and there, but when you notice you are flocking from your vision, try to tap back into your mental state of having it already. Remember stay motivated and everyday can be a new beginning. Don’t lose the strength to keep going.
